About :

Originally a part of the North East Frontier Agency, Arunachal Pradesh became a State on February 20, 1987. Till then it was a Union Territory. The State borders Assam and Nagaland and has international borders with Bhutan, China and Myanmar. In area, it is the largest in the north east, with a predominantly tribal population.
